1. Life in Vietnam would be perfect if everyone were totally equal. Do you agree or disagree? Explain your answer in complete sentences.
I disagree, because if everyone are totally equal, the world will not have any prove or invent new things, and the world will stay the same for a billion years, and that make people boring.  

2.You are designing a society in which everyone is equal. What are the laws?
- All people will be the same.
- Smart people go to jails.
- Government make smarter become the same as them.


3. What would you do to help people who were less capable mentally, physically, or socially to “catch up”?
I will teach them how to use things, and where things that make they use their leftover parts.

4.What problems can you foresee that might come in a society with laws that force “equality for all”? How would you handle those problems?
I will keep the law " equality for all ", but rules citizens in a different way, so they not turn their back at me and against me.

5.Do you believe that total equality is possible, or would human nature make sure that some people would eventually dominate others?
I think that equality, is more better because in the world, is see many people are show off and selfish. So equality is the best, it make people all equal, no one smarter then anyone, no one better then anyone.

6.In what situations have you felt similarly to any of the characters? What persons, places, or ideas from your own experience came to mind while you were reading this story? Try to list as least two examples.
- I remember one time I stood up to my dad about soccer try out. I wanted him to sign in the sheet, and he said many bad things about soccer, he said it bad if u broke your leg, it sound right I agree with him, but he said that it very expensive when u drive a cars, we needed to fill the oil so its cost a lot of money for a soccer try out. That why I'm not agree and I had a argument with him for 2 hours just for a signature.
- In the world, everyone have their right to do things, like me. One time I when to the toy shop and I saw a big Eiffel Tower model, and I spend my money out to buy its. When I get home my father saw it and he yell and me, he said if I don't have his permission to do anythings, I can't do it. And that is not the way I want, I want freedom.

Advertising Questions

 How does advertising influence consumption?

The advertising always show the viewers the good things, but not the bad things, and they can also make attractive advertising to attract the viewers and make the viewers want to have it and buy it.

Do you think citizens are sufficiently informed about the sustainability of our consumption habits? If not, how can we become more informed about sustainability issues?

We can use another resources to make the product or reuse the things that people throw, instead of good things.

Do you think these advertising techniques influence what you and your friends purchase?

We are in the same ages, and we want to purchase it for our life and the advertisement make us want to buy it.  

Migration Stories

This immigration story is about my brother. His name is Tim, and he lived in the outskirt of Binh Duong province. He moved from Binh Duong to Houston, Texas, USA. His migration is a pull factor, he moved there to have better education. His immigration was external, because he moved from Binh Duong to the USA. He migrated there for two years already, next year I will be like him, I will move there to study. In four years later he will come back to his homeland.

His moving is good because he can study in a new school that has a good education. Living in the USA is good for his future; he can find a good job there. But it’s hard for him when he moves to another country because he needs to learn their culture and their language. The American people talk very fast, so he needs to practice his English to talk with them more easily. I also need to improve my English techniques because I will go to Houston next year. He needs to make new friends; he told me that in Houston, there are a lot of Vietnamese and Chinese people. He can easily make friends with them because they are from in the same continent.

5 themes of Geography

Location: Depend on the map, we can see the Hot dogs land, and know all of the exact location by longitude and latitude. We can have another way to say it, is the Hot dogs land is near to the big storage food place for example.

Movement: On the map, the Hot dogs land fight with the carnivals to get back the food storage place. And the Pizza land attack the Hot dogs land to still the things in “ God Temple “, and they attack Sandwiches land to still the gold mine….

Human-environments Interaction: On the map, in the four lands they all have forests and lake. They can hunt in the forest or catch fish on the river. And they are many food around them, and they are tribes, they familiar with the forests place.

My Experient about the Project

          After this project, I can know many cultures from another place like Korea, China and some in Vietnam that I don't know. In my project I can know many about my family, culture and religions. I can know it when my mom get born my first brother she move one places, my second brother she move another place... It sounds like "Adventure". I can know that in Hai Phong popular food is "Banh da cua", I heard it but I never eat it before. I think this Family Tree project brings me many things that I don't know, and it helps me to learn a skill to talk in front of many people. When I was young, I very afraid to stand in front of the class, until now I see my friends are very brave to stand in front of the class. Now I'm not afraid of it and more, I should thank you about it.
